Beverly has been a Realtor for over 12 years, first with Clower Real Estate, and now as the Principal Broker of Sims Realty.

She was selected the 2003 Realtor-of-the-Year for the Southeast Arkansas Board of Realtors, a peer award based on criteria set by the National Association of Realtors. She has served as Vice-President of the Southeast Arkansas Board of Realtors for two years, and as Secretary-Treasurer. She has received the “Million Dollar Award”, or now called "Award of Excellence" for six out of the last seven years. As a member of the Arkansas Realtors Association, Beverly has been involved with fundraising activities for Special Olympics for the past 12 years.

Beverly Sims is a member of the McGehee Area Chamber of Commerce, McGehee Industrial Foundation, McGehee Beautification Committee, and South McGehee Baptist Church.
